The third round gives pride of place to the big names, who will be in numbers on the courts on Friday. Among them: Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Coco Gauff, Andrey Rublev, Ons Jabeur, but also Jannik Sinner.
Chloé Paquet, who qualified on Thursday, beating Katerina Siniakova, 33e world, in three sets (3-6, 7-6, 7-6) is already back, against another Czech: Marketa Vondrousova, seed no 5. Corentin Moutet will face the Austrian Sebastian Ofner, 45e worldwide, at the end of the day.
