Puzzles including search campaign – shopping center is now looking for the “Lord of the Rings”

Who did Traude marry in 1993? And who is Traude anyway? A found wedding ring triggered a search in the Waldviertel.

There are often special or bizarre finds in shopping malls. In the Thayapark in Waidhofen an der Thaya, the honest cleaning lady made a rare gold find: One morning, a man’s wedding ring was just lying in a corner by the entrance. “We’re not sure how long the piece of jewelery has been missing. It probably got from the sidewalk into the grooves in the entrance area of our shopping mall at some point,” say managers Denise Kiehfahrer and Rebecca Reiss. The EKZ has now started an appeal on the Internet, which was shared more than 600 times in a very short time. So far there is no trace of the ring bearer. “We hope to find the owner. Such pieces of jewelry not only have a material value, but also an ideal value,” the two show great empathy. The ring is engraved with the name “Traude” and the probable date of marriage, May 7, 1993. The owner is welcome to contact the EKZ office in person or on 0699/1440 1435. In order to really find the real bridegroom, official photo identification and the marriage certificate are required upon collection.Shopping basket ended up in the wrong trunk There are many bizarre incidents in the Waldviertel shopping center. Recent highlight: A few months ago, a man put his wife’s shopping basket in the trunk of their orange car and left to run more errands. However, the supposed car of his wife was the same color – and unlocked – car of an EKZ employee who drove away unsuspectingly. At home she noticed the basket and indeed the owners found each other. The basket was returned with the purchase.
