The Swiss team and their trio will also participate in the decision of the second competition of the Four Hills Tournament.

The Swiss trio, led by Killian Peier, will take off for the New Year’s competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. All of them passed the qualification hurdle without any problems. Peier landed after 133 meters and qualified in tenth.

Deschwanden and Ammann also effortlessly

With this, Peier underlined his position as team leader after rank 5 in the qualification of the 1st jumping in Oberstdorf. Gregor Deschwanden (26/129 m) and Simon Ammann (33/126 m) were classified in the midfield. The two will therefore start early for the knockout duels.

With Markus Eisenbichler, the tour leader Ryoyu Kobayashi and the World Cup leader Karl Geiger, prominent names adorned the top of the rankings. Surprisingly, however, the Austrian Stefan Kraft fails at the cut.
