Queen Elizabeth: Is that why she refused a photo with great-granddaughter Lilibet?

It is said that Queen Elizabeth strictly refused to be photographed with her great-granddaughter Lilibet when they met and probably only met.

At the first and tragically probably only meeting of Queen Elizabeth, † 96, and her great-granddaughter Lilibet Diana, 2, as part of the platinum throne anniversary in June 2022, no joint recording was made – much to the disappointment of the people, but especially of Prince Harry, 38, and Duchess Meghan, 41.

Queen Elizabeth refused photo with Lilibet

The Sussexes traveled to the UK from their adopted home of California with their two children, Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, to attend the Jubilee celebrations. However, there were no official photos of the two children and Queen Elizabeth and little Lilibet met behind closed palace doors and away from the public eye.

According to media reports, the couple asked if they could bring a photographer to take a picture of the two Lilibets together. The 96-year-old should respond with a clear “No way!” have answered. The reason for this does not seem to be a grudge against her grandson and his family, but rather her state of health.

The monarch is said to have had a bloodshot eye

As royal expert Camilla Tominey revealed in a column for The Telegraph, the monarch had a bloodshot eye at the time of the meeting and did not want to be seen in any pictures that would become public. “This comes after advisers raised concerns that releasing a private meeting could set a dangerous precedent, not least if photos were leaked to US TV networks or Netflix, with whom the couple has a multimillion-dollar deal.” , Tominey continued.

Prince Harry is said to have expressed a wish at some point in the future to get an official photo of the two Lilibets together – but unfortunately that was not to happen.
