According to a new book, Queen Elizabeth was very attached to Prince Harry. She is said to have understood why her grandson wanted to write his memoirs.

On January 10, Prince Harry’s memoir, 38, will be released under the title “Spare” – just a few weeks after the release of the explosive Netflix documentary series by Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan, 41. The book could further fuel the conflict between deliver to the ducal couple and the British royal family. But a new publication claims: Queen Elizabeth, † 96, is said to have even understood her grandson’s desire to write his memoirs.

Prince Harry wants to tell “his truth”.

Biographer and author Gyles Brandreth, 74, writes in his new book Elizabeth: An Intimate Protrait, according to Mirror, that Queen Elizabeth sincerely wished Harry and Meghan well after the two stepped down from royal duties and moved to California were drawn. She knew Harry wanted to “tell his truth”.

“I knew the Queen was very attached to Harry,” said Brandreth, who is a friend of the royal family. “She loved him. She thought he was really funny and honestly wished him well in the new life he was looking for in California.” When Harry called his beloved grandmother, he was always put through to her straight away. “She even understood his desire to write his book, not just for the money, but because he wanted to tell his story — to tell his truth,” Brandreth said.
