Queen Letizia and King Felipe of Spain hosted dinner at their Royal Palace on the occasion of the 32nd NATO Summit. A real luxury menu was served to the heads of government of the member states – including 13 starters.

Smoked Salmon Gilda, Garlic Shrimp Croquettes, Kikos with Guacamole, Cod Fries or Gazpacho with Basil Oil? These are just five of the 13 appetizers offered to Queen Letizia, 49, and King Felipe, 54, on Tuesday evening, June 28, 2022, at the dinner to mark the 32nd NATO Summit. The Spanish court announced which tapas, dishes and desserts were served to the heads of government. The royal menu left nothing to be desired.

Queen Letizia and King Felipe: two-star chef Paco Roncero created the luxury menu

The menu was put together by star chef Paco Roncero. The aperitifs were served in tapas form to the 30th NATO Heads of State and Government. The 13 appetizers included spherical olives, sea bass ceviche with tiger milk, and lobster with oil and pink grapefruit soup.

The main course was limited to a fish dish. Queen Letizia and King Felipe served their guests hake with Ménier sauce, tapioca and trout roe. When it comes to dessert, the royal couple also limited the choice to a sweet dessert. Olaf Scholz, 64, Joe Biden, 79, and Boris Johnson, 58, and the other state representatives enjoyed an exotic coconut foam with mint granita and passion fruit.
