Quick and dirty: Eyeliner and co. never smudge again

This way, eyeliner and eyeshadow will never smudge again

Oh no, always the same. We motivated ourselves and used eyeshadow or even eyeliner, and after a short time the make-up was everywhere, just not where it was supposed to be. Stop, stop, stop! Remember these three tricks and the make-up will be rock solid.

The eyeliner has been pressed off the top, the mascara is crumbling around the eye and the eye shadow has lost all its radiance? That really doesn’t have to be the case! Here are three tips for more durability.

1. Double and triple primed

Whether you have oily eyelids or rather dry skin; before eyeliner or eyeshadow make their big appearance, another product provides the perfect foundation. Eyeshadow primer is a MUST when it comes to eye makeup. Never leave out! Simply apply to the lid with your finger and blend. For maximum safety, we then fix the whole thing with a transparent powder or a tone in the color of our eyelid. Once that’s done, the great fun can begin.

2. Waterproof into the solution

A simple tip that works wonders: use waterproof products! Can be annoying when removing make-up, but saves you a lot of nerves throughout the day. Waterproof mascara not only prevents the well-loved (not!) panda eyes, but also keeps the lashes curling much better and doesn’t make them look sad. Same with the eyeliner! Only the waterproof version, so we never have to watch out for imprints above our eyes again. Because nobody needs them!

3. Be sure to preserve

Setting Spray is not only there to completely fix our make-up at the end. We also use it in the intermediate steps, for example to give shimmering eye shadow more color. Simply spray the brush with the fixer and then go into the eyeshadow and dab it on. After the preparation, fixing is the most important step anyway. We can also add black eyeshadow to the eyeliner so that it stays on the eye for longer. Better to be safe than sorry.
