Well, was it too late yesterday or is it still so dark in the morning that ten horses can’t get you out of bed? No matter what it is, these three tips will make you feel more awake than you are.

The alarm is going off again and it feels like it’s the middle of the night. If nothing helps, we have to get up. And with these little helpers and tricks, it will be much easier for us to start the day awake in the morning. Let’s go!

1. Throw in cold water

It sounds like a horror scenario and it is when you try it for the first time, but it works wonders. It doesn’t matter whether you wash your face with ice-cold water in the morning or you want to really do it and treat yourself to a cold shower – cold water not only wakes you up, but also boosts blood circulation in the skin at lightning speed, which ensures a fresh and radiant complexion. And while we’re on the subject of cold weather: simply store your skin care products in the fridge or use cold spoons on your eyes. This constricts your blood vessels and reduces puffiness under your eyes. Sometimes shock therapy is needed.

2. Care Boost

Of course, not everyone has time for an extensive skin care routine in the morning. But this trick takes just a few minutes. In order to look awake, our skin needs moisture. So apply a rich cream to the cleansed face and consciously massage the product into the skin. If you like it even more intensive, you can use skin care tools such as a gua sha or so-called face globes and work the product into the skin. A two-in-one solution: Your skin gets the active ingredients that wake it up and the massage also stimulates blood circulation in the face.

3. More appearances than reality

Honestly now? Some days you just have a hard time getting out of bed, you only survive the day with (very) much coffee and nothing else helps. So what, it doesn’t matter! However, so that you are not constantly asked what is wrong with you and whether you are sick, a concealer with good coverage can be a lifesaver. Just a small amount is enough to erase under-eye circles and make you look more awake, even though you 0% feel that way. Then maybe some rouge for more freshness on your face and then you’ll get through the day. Sometimes you just have to pretend – and tomorrow it will be better, I promise!
