Craving cookies but don’t have a sweet specialty stash of cookie ingredients in the house? No problem! These biscuit recipes can be made in no time with three simple ingredients from the kitchen shelf.

You don’t always need a large number of special baking ingredients for good biscuits: some of them can also be made without baking powder, flour or eggs.

Everything you need for the crispy minis of the following three recipes can be found on your own kitchen shelf or in the pantry. So even in times when it has to be quick or when you can’t even go to the supermarket around the corner, there are sweet cookie supplies.

Recipe: Easy 3-ingredient cookies

The hearty ones: oatmeal cookies

The ingredients for approx. 20 pieces:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 150 g tender oat flakes
  • Topping at will

The preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C top and bottom heat.
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork and mix together with the oatmeal.
  3. Form the cookie dough into around 20 small balls and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Press the cookie balls lightly and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Tip: If you like, you can help yourself to your pantry at home and refine the biscuits – for example with a little vanilla pulp, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, cinnamon, two tablespoons of nut butter or a handful of finely chopped dried fruit.

The cuties: chocolate biscuits

The ingredients for about 15 biscuits:

  • 180 g hazelnut spread
  • 1 egg
  • 120 grams of flour

The preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180° C top and bottom heat.
  2. Put the hazelnut spread together with the egg in a bowl and stir carefully.
  3. Gradually sift in the flour and stir in.
  4. Form the cookie dough into small balls using a spoon, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and press down lightly.
  5. Bake the chocolate biscuits in about 15 minutes.

The crunchy ones: peanut cookies

The ingredients for about 20 cookies:

  • 500g crunchy peanut butter
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 2 eggs

The preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175° C top and bottom heat.
  2. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with a hand mixer until creamy.
  3. Form the cookie dough into small balls using a spoon and your hands, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and press down lightly. If you like, you can use the tines of a fork to make a nice pattern on the biscuits.
  4. Bake the peanut cookies in about ten minutes.

Tip: The peanut cookies also taste great if you refine them with a pinch of salt or chocolate chips. Any nut butter can be used in addition to peanut butter. The sugar can be replaced with honey or agave syrup.
