The Sandbox is a metaverse, a game aiming to replicate real life. A bit like a Habbo but with NFTs. It is possible for players to buy properties, clothes, in short everything that is possible to buy in real life, but with cybercurrency and in the metaverse.
Ubisoft having officially launched into NFTs and blockchain, the company unsurprisingly sent its crazy Rabbids into the world of The Sandbox.
The aim of this collaboration is to “allow anyone to create their own experiences with the Rabbids franchise in the Open Metaverse”. Players of The Sandbox will therefore be able to acquire items related to the famous in-game rabbits, although Ubisoft has not given more details as to what will be available for virtual purchase. Objects ? Clothes ? Rabbids themselves?
For now, only the presentation trailer has been unveiled by The Sandbox’s YouTube channel. A trailer during which, as usual, the rabbits sow chaos in a museum of the metaverse. More information will be forthcoming, but one thing is certain: Ubisoft is indeed launched in the blockchain system.
