The year 2023 ends on a high note. To approach 2024 in the most beautiful way, Rachel Legrain-Trapani flew to Bali alongside her companion, Valentin Léonard. And, the icing on the cake, the one who was Miss France for the year 2007 shared with her some 337,000 followers… that she was going to marry the one of her heart. In a video against the backdrop of a sunset over the Indian Ocean, we see the man who made himself known on the show Moundir and the apprentice adventurers moving towards his companion, before kissing her. Finally, the 34-year-old takes out a box and gets down on one knee.
Overcome by surprise and emotion, the beauty queen hides her face with her hands, bursts into tears and curls up in the arms of the man she can now call her fiancé. Quickly, hundreds of messages from friends and fans of the couple followed one another to wish them well. Among them are also other beauty queens, like Iris Mittenaere (Miss France 2016), Camille Cerf (Miss France 2015), or even Diane Leyre (Miss France 2022). Cindy Fabre, Miss France 2005 and new director of the beauty contest, wrote in particular: “Yay! Wedding season is here again! So happy your wish came true! Valentin, well done, you did it and without a Beijing Express test!”

If from now on, the mother has a career in television, she nevertheless does not forget her coronation. Last December 16 in the columns of Galathe one who was Miss Picardie in 2006 looked back on her adventure within the committee, which brought her to the crown on December 9, 2006.
“It happened very quickly! In the space of three months, I became Miss France. My mother really liked the Misses and watched each election. The year before my coronation, she told me: ‘You’ll see , next year, it will be your turn'”, explained the future married woman. A prediction which turned out to be correct, and which took place without incident. “To please him, I went there”, she continued. And to conclude: “Finally, I won this election and I am qualified for the Miss N. Rebelote election, I won ! I participated in Miss Picardie and there, I won ! Two weeks later, I left for the preparation trip for Miss France. It went really fast!”
