After having composed his government team, following a reflection with the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister had to make his general policy declaration. The 34-year-old politician therefore spoke at the National Assembly on January 30. But if he expected his speech to take place in good conditions, he was ultimately disturbed by the demands of the opposition. As reported The Express, this Monday, March 11, Gabriel Attal struggled to make himself heard because of the slamming desks and the incessant remarks from the members of La France insoumise and the National Rally. So much so that Rachida Dati had to make a rant to calm the situation.
According to our colleagues, the one who was elected Minister of Culture on January 11 was patient for several minutes before seeking support from Marie Lebec, Minister responsible for Relations with Parliament. “Write to Yael [Braun-Pivet]. This mess is unbearable. In my time, it didn’t happen like that!” she would have indicated, furious. Neither one nor two, his colleague carried out his request… in vain. “That’s life”, the President of the National Assembly would have replied, fatalistic.

On February 9, during the Victoires de la Musique evening, the Minister of Culture headed to the control room to greet the France Télévisions teams before setting her sights on… Léa Salamé and Cyril Féraud. Indeed, Rachida Dati would have grabbed a headset and a microphone to speak into the earpiece of the tandem of presenters. “Hey, stop flirting, you two!” she would have shouted into the ears of journalists on the verge of laughter, forced to keep their seriousness for the good of the show. The tenant of rue de Valois then continued her mission to test the professionalism of journalists : “But don’t stay in front of the camera!”, “I won’t buy his album…”, she would have said under the stunned gaze and laughter of the managers.
