Radical Forge separates a handful of its employees – Gamosaurus

Large companies are not the only ones wanting to restructure to save money. It is the turn of the English studio Radical Forge to announce the dismissal of a handful of its employees. People whose roles or skills are no longer necessary for the advancement of future projects have therefore lost their jobs. The studio, which proudly announced in December that it was made up of almost 80 members, must therefore review its copy.

With this restructuring, Radical Forge simply wants to be able to continue to live in this market. For this, 6 people were thanked as explains Louis Escudié, Junior Tech Game Designer who has just lost his job there. Thanks to these savings, the company’s current and future projects are not in danger. However, the studio invites anyone who can help licensees to contact them. A rather nice gesture to try to cushion the loss of employment.

Founded in 2017, the studio was mainly a support until 2020. First on Gang Beaststhen on Zombie Army 4: Dead War and finally Minecraft Dungeons. Contracts which will have allowed them to create their own license: Bright Paw. Currently, their next project is called
Southfield, and already has a Steam page to add it to your wishlist. Still very young, it is not surprising that a company that has grown from 2 to 80 employees in 7 years is forced to make budget cuts in a difficult context.
