The couple enjoyed a bit of Paris before returning to Spain; he was seen on crutches in Barcelona for a medical appointment because of his foot condition. During these few days, the tennis player gave a long interview to Paris Match in which he notably agreed to discuss his love story.
Rafael Nadal has been in a relationship with the very discreet Xisca – Maria Francisca Perelló of her real name – since 2005. A beautiful romance which gave rise to a marriage in 2019, on the island of Mallorca. But why did you wait all these years before putting the ring on your darling’s finger? “We got married to have a big party. Basically, it hasn’t changed much in our life, since we’ve been together for seventeen years. But there came a time in our lives when it felt like the right timing to do it…“, thus confided the 36-year-old player, of whom it is not yet known whether he will participate in the Wimbledon tournament by the end of June.
During the marriage of Rafael Nadal and Xisca, we could at the time see that the young woman had opted for an Art Deco style dress from the Rosa Clara brand copied from that of … Meghan Markle. The lovers had tried to put in place an important security device for the big day making their marriage ultra secure.
