No trains were running on British Eurostar lines on Saturday, announced the railway operator, who blamed the suspension of traffic on flooding in England.
“Due to an infrastructure problem on the high-speed line near London, we are forced to cancel all trains to or from London on Saturday 30 December,” Eurostar said in a statement.
Eurostar explains these cancellations by flooding which hampers traffic in a tunnel located between St Pancras station and the town of Ebbsfleet.
