Released at the beginning of 2022, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction (by its full name) still benefits from regular monitoring from the developers at Ubisoft. Besides, a brand new temporary event happened on the app. This is “Nightmare Fog”, available since today, Thursday, May 12, until June 2on all relevant gaming platforms.

“Nightmare Fog”, story content and game mechanics
During the “Nightmare Fog” event, players will have to contend with an inevitable fog of toxins, covering the containment area. As they move through said fog, agents will see their neurotoxin level increase. After a certain time of exposure, the latter will then undergo psychedelic effects, such as visual and auditory hallucinations or will be victims of problems of perception as to space and time. The last step being the loss of life points.
Nightmare Fog Additions
Fortunately, players can count on the presence of a briefcase, containing Neurostim, an antidote to remove part of their level of neurotoxin. As a result, players will have to deal with this fog throughout the event and therefore develop new strategies for incursions. Especially since the “Nightmare Fog” event introduces a brand new deadly enemythe Protein Vigil.
In addition, in parallel with the event, the developers at Ubisoft have added other new items : a new REACT Accelerator pistol, five new crisis studies, ten new levels of progression through the prestige system, pendants in the colors of “Nightmare Fog”, among others.
