Because he does not comment on the allegations, the Radioeins podcast by Rammstein keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz takes a break.

The allegations against Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann (60) also have far-reaching consequences for his bandmates. Because Christian “Flake” Lorenz (56), the band’s keyboardist, does not comment on this in his podcast, Radioeins (rbb) has put it on hold for the time being. According to “BZ” a new episode of the podcast should have appeared yesterday (June 13) at 9 p.m. – pre-produced because “Flake” is currently on tour with Rammstein. Instead, there was a repeat of another show.

There was no official cancellation, but according to “BZ” there was a note before the show: “Since Rammstein are on tour, we had planned a pre-produced show, which now seems inappropriate in the debate about Rammstein. However, Flake currently sees no way to produce a new program in which the current situation can be addressed.” Radioeins therefore decided in consultation with the musician that his broadcast would be paused.

Rammstein responds to allegations with a statement

Several women had made serious allegations against Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann in the past few weeks. Young women were “specifically” selected during concerts and invited to after-show parties. According to the descriptions of some women, sexual acts should also have taken place. Research by the NDR and the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” corroborated this. Lindemann rejects the allegations, his lawyer called them “without exception untrue”.

The band, however, spoke out in a statement via Instagram, which says, among other things: “The publications of the last few days have caused irritation and questions among the public and especially among our fans. The allegations have all hit us very hard and we take them extremely seriously.” The six musicians don’t want any “public prejudice” – in either direction. “We condemn any kind of transgression and ask you: Do not participate in public prejudice of any kind towards those who have made allegations. They have a right to their point of view,” the post reads.
