The regional councilor of Ile-de-France returns for “Liberation” on the video broadcast on social networks where she is, among others, symbolically targeted by two young supporters of Eric Zemmour armed with large caliber rifles.
In a video posted on social networks, two supporters of Eric Zemmour shoot heavy weapons at “Targets” they designate as Emmanuel Macron, Maghrebians, anti-fascists and rebels Alexis Corbière and Raquel Garrido. “Today we are going to train to hunt wild Garrido”, launches a young man, large caliber rifle to his shoulder. “It is an attack against all the people who contest the vision of the world and of France which is advocated by the extreme right”, reacts the columnist and regional councilor of Ile-de-France.
How did you react to the discovery of this video?
I was bruised by this video which seeks to hurt me. The mentions of my weight, of my physiognomy, with a disparaging and misogynistic vocabulary are a classic of the extreme right. When you see a large caliber firing at the call of its own name, and that of Alexis Corbière, it’s obviously shocking.
Do you think the reaction of the public authorities to threats from the ultra right is up to the task?
Even if in recent weeks there have been a few seizures and arrests on other cases, I note, in this case, that the perpetrators of the death threats have not yet been apprehended. That heavily armed people …
