When will the BatSignal light up again in the skies of Gotham City? Officially, The Batman II is due to be released in theaters on October 1, 2025. But we have no real information on this sequel, apart from this denial from James Gunn on the identity of the villains, which could calm the ardor of a few scoopers.
But that could change soon. World of Real claims that filming on Matt Reeves’ film will begin next August. And that his script must be delivered in February. This still requires confirmation, but the information fits with the release date… which could change according to the site, which does not give further details.
We will therefore have to be careful and wait for the information to be official (or a new denial from James Gunn). But The Batman II is moving forward, and Robert Pattinson is preparing to return to his Batman costume, while Barry Keoghan has strongly suggested that his Joker could be back.
