Raynaud, a young 11-year-old from Reunion, wins the final

The latter took on the role of super coach for the time of this grand final. At the end of this beautiful evening, it is Raynaud, an 11-year-old young man from Reunionwho won this new edition of The Voice Kids. After a flawless run, it was no surprise that he won the trophy.

Gims to Raynaud: “You come from afar and you will go far”

“You deserve serious, you sang well, you see, you have to believe in it”, immediately launched the coach to his student. For his part, Gims continued in these terms: “You come from far and you will go far. » It must be said that Raynaud’s passion for music is not new. The child started singing at 3 years old, with his mother, recalls The Dispatch. A few years later, only 8 years old, he went on stage for the first time. Subsequently, he asserted his desire to become a singer.

The young Reunionese particularly appreciates sentimental songs or those from the 1980s. In the final, he performed Since you’re leaving by Jean-Jacques Goldman, while he had sung Chiquitita by Nana Mouskouri in the semi-finals. The four coaches had all turned around on his version of Goodbye, My love, Goodbye of Demis Roussos during the blind auditions.
