After a successful Viper V2 Pro, Razer is renewing its DeathAdder mouse in the V3 Pro version to improve the formula and above all to lighten it by 25%. A high-end, wireless and ultra-lightweight model for demanding gamers.
We just tested the Viper V2 Pro from Razer, which is neither more nor less than the lightest wireless mouse around. The snake brand continues its momentum and this time renews the DeathAdder, a slightly more ergonomic and just as high-end model.
Named (almost) soberly DeathAdder V3 Pro, it corrects some criticisms that could be made of the old DeathAdder V2 Pro, improves certain technical characteristics and above all reduces its weight by nearly 25 g! A great feat which takes it from 88 g to 63 g (64 g in the white version) and which makes it box in the same category as the G Pro X Superlight from Logitech (63 g also). However, the Viper V2 Pro remains lighter with its 58 g on the scale.

Uncompromising precision
There are also many changes that Razer has made to the latter to save weight: sleek design, without RGB and non-slip coating in the form of adhesives to add. Likewise, Gen-3 optical switches are included for excellent responsiveness, as is the Focus Pro 30K optical sensor, which is one of the most precise on the market. On the connectivity side, it will be necessary to bet on the 2.4 GHz Hyperspeed receiver for low latency, Bluetooth is no longer offered anyway.

More ergonomic and durable
The manufacturer has otherwise modified the ergonomics somewhat with curves that are a priori better thought out to fit the palm of the hand, a higher wheel and less flared main buttons. Autonomy has also been increased, from 70 to 90 hours, and the Speedflex charging cable now connects via USB-C.
All these technologies have a cost, and you will have to pay no less than 160 € to afford the DeathAdder V3 Pro, available on the Razer site and certain resellers today. We can see if these improvements are worth their weight in gold in a test over the next few weeks.
