She reads, participates in activities, watches TV…”, declared his lawyer before explaining: “But never the reports that concern her. She hates it. Every time his photo appears on the screen, her fellow inmates call her a ‘slut’ for several days, even in the showers”. As a reminder, Monique Olivier will be tried before the Nanterre assizes for complicity in the kidnapping of Estelle Mouzin and for the murder and rape of two other young victims.
Monique Olivier does not plan for the future
In a few days the trial of Michel Fourniret’s ex-wife will take place. If the main accused, who has since died, cannot be tried for the crimes he allegedly committed, his accomplice will face the families of the victims. In the front row will be Éric Mouzin, the father of Estelle Mouzin, a 9-year-old girl who disappeared in 2003. Interviewed on the microphone of RTL on Monday, November 20, 2023, he said: “We have been waiting for the answer for more than twenty years. An answer which will arrive during the trial but which will be a partial answer, of course, since the main culprit is no longer there, since he is dead”. I myself spoke with Mr. Mouzin. There is no problem on his side. He doesn’t expect anything from Monique Olivier, he just wants her to be convicted“. For her part, Michel Fourniret’s alleged accomplice, aged 75, does not expect to leave prison one day. “She doesn’t really plan her future”explained his lawyer, explaining that “his desires are short-term: watching a certain TV program, training guide dogs, as she was able to do at the Rennes remand center”, where she was previously incarcerated.
