Realme GT Neo 5: its complete technical sheet is shown before its time


Rather discreet in the second half of 2022 in Europe, Realme should sign its return at the start of the year with at least one smartphone: the GT Neo 5. The device, which has been the subject of rumors for many weeks, in particular due to of its fast charging system, has just appeared on the registers of TENAA, the Chinese telecommunications certification body. The Realme GT Neo 5 will be available in two versions. As the manufacturer has already confirmed, one will benefit from a 240 W fast charge which, unless there is a competing announcement by its presentation, represents the current record in the smartphone world. This version will include a 4600 mAh battery. On the other hand, a variant compatible with 150 W charging, that is to say similar to that of the GT Neo 3 of 2022, will be associated with a 5000 mAh battery.

For the rest, the smartphone promises to be well equipped, with a single solid technical sheet. The device should indeed enjoy a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and Full HD definition. It should not be entitled to the latest chip from Qualcomm, but nevertheless boasts of a clear move upmarket compared to its elder, since it would be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flanked by 6 to 12 GB of living memory. A storage of 128 GB to 1 TB would also be offered on this smartphone running Android 13 with the Realme UI 4.0 interface. Finally, expect a triple photo unit with a main 50-megapixel module (IMX890 sensor, f/1.79 optics), another 8 Mpx (ultra wide-angle) and a final 2 Mpx, dedicated to the macro.
