Realms Deep 2023: all the announcements from the retro FPS conference

This weekend was held on Realms Deep 2023an online conference organized by the publisher 3D Realms and entirely dedicated to shooting games with a retro aesthetic. An event for all fans of boomer shooterswith violence, explosive and improbable weapons, and above all big pixels.

The event was rich in diverse and varied announcements, there was something for everyone (provided you like the FPSobviously), you can find the replay full version of the conference above, and here are the important announcements from this Realms Deep 2023 :

  • Twisted Tower : Thomas Brush (Atmos Games) unveils a new game where BioShock encounter Willy Wonka And Disneyland.

  • Bloodless : Point ‘n Sheep Games unveils a new retro action adventure game with fast-paced combat.

  • Wrath: Aeon of Ruin sees its release date set for February 27, 2024, which is already available in Early Access on PC for almost a year.

  • Core Decay : a new FPS retro cyberpunkin the pure spirit of Deus Ex And System Shockannounced on video.

  • Tempest Rising : the composer Frank Klepacki (Command and Conquer) will take care of the soundtrack.


  • Ripout : its release date is set for October 24, which will mark the end of theEarly Access. Versions for home consoles are also expected in 2024.

  • The Kindeman Remedy : the medical simulation horror game will be released on November 16, 2023.

  • Kingpin: Reloadedthe remastered version of FPS irreverent will be released on December 5, 2023.

  • CombustionA Action RPG with a PSX aesthetic with animals and an investigation into a serial killer, announced on video.

  • Graven will be released on January 23, 2024 on PC and will leave early access, it will be playable in French. The console versions do not yet have a release date.

  • Ion Fury: Aftershockthe extension of FPS retro, will be released on October 2, 2023. Yes, it’s today!

  • Cultic: Interludethe free update of FPSis available now, with a new map and a new scenario taking place between the first two chapters.

  • Divine FrequencyTHE FPS very inspired by Doomannounced on video.
