Based out of Warsaw, Poland, Rebel Wolves studio is headed by Konrad Tomaszkiewiz. He was formerly game director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and second game director of Cyberpunk 2077. In addition to these two hats, he took on the role of vice president of production at CD Project RED. In the Rebel Wolves team, we can also count on Daniel Sadowki, as design director, Jakob Szamtek, as lead scriptwriter. Or Tamara Zawada, animation director, Bartlomiej Gawel, as artistic director, Michel Boryka, and Robert Murzynowski, studio manager. If there are a dozen developers at the moment, it’s a safe bet that the ranks of the studio will grow over time.
In addition to the official announcement regarding the creation of the studio, they took the opportunity to mention their current project: the development of a AAA Dark Fantasy RPG, intended for next-gen consoles and PC. The game should use the Unreal Engine 5. Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, Konrad Tomaszkiewiz said: “ We are proud of our past accomplishments, but we hunger for more. We want to experiment, to push the limits, to discover new ways of telling stories in the world of video games. We felt that starting a new business, where we make all the decisions, will give us the freedom to take the risks necessary to achieve these ambitions.
