Red election advertising – No emperor in sight yet: Coming with the second wave

The LH comes only in the second SPÖ wave. No posters, but bright red advertising motifs. Sustainability is strongly emphasized by the Social Democrats. The FPÖ Carinthia submits its election proposal.

One can assume that the Carinthians know what their governor looks like. Maybe that’s the reason why the SPÖ relies on pure word processing for its first wave of subjects – i.e. motifs – and why there is still no picture of Peter Kaiser to be seen far and wide. Health, education and affordable living are the bright red topics that have been chosen. For the time being, they can be read on advertising screens, which are usually found at bus stops or at the entrance to towns. Kaiser is coming with the second wave “The second wave is my portrait’s turn,” says Kaiser reassuringly. You don’t want to mess up the landscape with “meaningless phrases” like your competitors, says Election Manager Andreas Sucher. Well, but “Real commitment to the best education” is a commendable target, but not very specific in terms of content. Reds rely on sustainability A big issue in the SPÖ is sustainability. The advertising pen is made of cardboard, bags and banners are recycled, paper also has a past life. Classics like lighters have had their day – they simply don’t exist. “We want to help our homeland regain its former glory” 72 candidates are running under the name “The Freedomists in Carinthia – FPÖ”. Top candidate Erwin Angerer: “We want to help our homeland regain its former glory. Our aim is not only to provide the Federal Chancellor, but also the Governor. Common sense will only return to Carinthia with a liberal LH.” In contrast to SPÖ (Kaiser), ÖVP (Gruber) and TK (Köfer), Angerer does not appear in the list name.
