Xiaomi recently introduced the Redmi Note 12 in China. So far, however, there has been no information about a worldwide release. However, two entries in the official IMEI database now show that the mobile phone will also appear globally.
As reported by 91mobiles, Xiaomi has registered the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Pro+ under the model numbers 22101316G and 22101316UG. These are the same numbers used for the Chinese versions. Instead of the C for China, there is a G for “Global” at the end.
A number for the basic version was not registered. It is therefore possible that “only” the two Pro versions will appear in this country. It is not yet known when a worldwide presentation will take place.
