Refreshment – These fruits are cool and low in sugar

The absolute leader in sugar-free refreshment is the watermelon with about 95 percent water content. It contains only 6.2 grams of sugar per 100 grams, which is almost the highest value among fruits (first is the papaya, below in the picture). The dragon fruit (pitahaya) also consists of 90 percent water, with 7.7 g of sugar. And grapefruits (91% water) are also great in this respect: They offer a lot of vitamin C with only 8.9 g of sugar. But beware: If you are taking medication, you should not eat grapefruit. There could be an interaction.
