Regeneron: Adjusted EPS down 6% in the 4th quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – Regeneron publishes revenue of $3.43 billion for the 4th quarter of 2023, up 1% compared to the same period a year earlier.

Adjusted net profit was down 6%, to $1,366 million, or adjusted EPS of $11.86, down 6% but above consensus expectations.

Over the entire financial year, turnover stood at $13.1 billion, up 8% compared to 2022, for adjusted net profit of $5.04 billion (-2 %) and an EPS of $43.79 (-3%).

‘In 2024, we plan to continue to invest heavily in internal R&D, driving commercial execution and prudently deploying capital for business development and share repurchases, which should better position the Company and generate sustainable growth and long-term value for shareholders,” said Robert E. Landry, CFO of Regeneron.

For 2024, Regeneron plans to invest between $4.3 and $4.5 billion in R&D (adjusted data), as well as between $2.5 and $2.65 billion in SG&A (i.e., General & Administrative Expenses). , again in adjusted data).
