Again on stage to defend a new album, the singer Renaud attacked spectators who had come to applaud him, annoyed by a habit that does not pass at all for him during his performances.
After a period of withdrawal, renaud returned to record stores last year with a new album – the metic -, which he wanted to defend on stage as part of a tour called In my strings which has already lengthened in response to its success. The performer who was honored at the NRJ Music Awards 2022 wished for this new more intimate show, no doubt with a view to getting closer to his loyal audience despite the passing years. After performing several performances, Renaud performed at the Sebastopol Theater of Lille Tuesday, February 21. But not everything went as planned since the artist who celebrated his 70th birthday threatened to come off stageobviously annoyed by the behavior of some spectators.
Indeed, the interpreter of “Mistral winner” was offended by aficionados taken by the desire to keep the memory of this moment of sharing and who had therefore filmed the scene with their smartphone. According to The voice of the NorthRenaud first challenged one of them by sending him “a bird’s name”before declaring: “I no longer want to sing“. He was not the only spectator to film or take photos to immortalize the moment! “Isn’t there a neighbor who can tell him to stop? i hate social media” added Renaud. However, the instruction had been recalled many times. Our colleagues point out that, upon entering the room, it had been requested several times that the laptops remain in the pocket.

It must be said that in the public, several of his relatives accompany him on certain dates. This was the case of his ex-girlfriend who had been seen at a concert scheduled in Avignon on January 24. The Parisian was present that evening and was able to see three women in his life, namely his daughter Lolita, his companion Cerise, but also Dominique Quilichini with whom he lived in the 1970s. All three were gathered together, alongside brother Renaud’s twin, David Séchan.
