Renault: a new version for Dacia’s small Spring – 04/05/2024 at 11:14


(CercleFinance.com) – Dacia, the Renault group’s entry-level brand, unveiled the new version of its small Spring electric car on Friday, with a price positioned below 20,000 euros.

The model – which benefits from the new Dacia design inaugurated on the latest generation of Duster – is equipped with the Media Nav Live system offering a large 10-inch central touch screen which integrates connected navigation.

It also has new driving assistance tools such as automatic emergency braking with vehicle and pedestrian detection, overspeed alert and rear parking assistance.

In its 65 hp/48 kW engine, the vehicle offers dynamic acceleration, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 14 seconds, for energy consumption of less than 14.6 kWh/100 km.

Available from 18,900 euros, the new model should open orders soon,

with a view to first deliveries at the start of the school year, from September.

Since its launch in Europe in 2021, Spring has already sold more than 140,000 copies since its launch in Europe to become the 3rd best-selling electric vehicle to individuals on the continent last year.

With nearly 30,000 units delivered in France, Spring has taken first place among the most sold electric vehicles to individuals on the French market.
