Renault: Ampère will develop the new electric Twingo in two years, according to the CEO

PARIS (Reuters) – Ampère, the electric entity of Renault, will develop the new electric Twingo in two years to match the speed of Chinese manufacturers, its general director, Luca de Meo, declared on Wednesday in front of an audience of financial analysts.

Luca de Meo also announced that the group has chosen the Douai site (Hauts-de-France) for the assembly of a compact electric SUV for Mitsubishi.
