(CercleFinance.com) – Renault Group announced on Friday the assignment to its Sandouville factory, by 2026, of the construction of electric utility vehicles for Flexis SAS, its recently authorized joint venture with Volvo Group and CMA CGM.
The diamond car manufacturer specifies that an investment of 300 million euros by 2026 is planned on the Normandy site to produce a new generation of 100% electric vans based on a connected electronic platform.
To support the factory in starting the new project, a recruitment plan has been announced with 550 permanent and fixed-term hires over the next four years, in addition to the 1,000 recruitments already made between 2014 and 2023.
