Renault: The capital loss resulting from the partial sale of the stake in Nissan reduced to around €1 billion

Dec 13 (Reuters) – The capital loss resulting from Renault’s sale of part of its stake in Nissan has been reduced from around 0.5 billion euros to 1 billion euros, the manufacturer said on Wednesday French automobile.

The reduction in capital loss results from the accretive effect on the capital holding of Nissan’s decision to cancel all of the shares acquired, Renault explains in a press release. (Writing by Augustin Turpin, edited by Kate Entringer)
