Replaced: The 2.5D action game is postponed to 2023 due to the situation in Ukraine

The conference Xbox-Bethesda from last year had highlighted some big games that we are almost guaranteed to see again this year, but also some smaller games, which were no less impressive for all that. We especially remember Replaced, a 2.5D action game with a cyberpunk universe, which won over the crowds thanks to its very attractive artistic direction. We were expecting the latter for this year, but we will have to wait a little longer.

An understandable delay

Sad Cat Studios announces today that the game will not see the light of day in 2022, but that Replaced is now slated for 2023 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. This delay is actually linked to the war in Ukraineas the studio is based in Belarus, and also employs people from Ukraine.

The studio’s priority is therefore to ensure the health and safety of these people and the families of the employees, which is why the game has been postponed with the approval of Sad Cat Studios’ parent company, Thunderful. This will also ensure the best possible quality of play so that the note of intent of the first trailer is respected in the final title.

We obviously send all our support to those affected by this difficult situation.
