Good news for fans of Research section ! This Tuesday, February 1, at 9:10 p.m., a new double episode will be broadcast on TF1titled Deadly hike. Thus, viewers will be able to find Bernier (Xavier Deluc), Jeanne (Fabienne Carat), Lucas (Franck Sémonin) and Ariel (Elise Tielrooy) on their screen. After retiring two years ago, marking the end of the series, Bernier returns for new adventures.
But this time, the small group flies away on Reunion Island for an eventful vacation. “ “With these beautiful results, we quickly thought of a sequel in a special format »confided producer Fabienne Arbelot to TV Magazine. She adds : “ An event episode in a particular configuration since Bernier is retired and can no longer intervene as he pleases”. Upon returning to their accommodation, the small group realizes that a murder has just taken place. “What’s fun, it’s finding them outside of work. We see them in situations of complementarity, opposition, relationships between couples and generations”slips Xavier Deluc.

Rather satisfied with the plots and the characters, the producer decided to start a new shoot at the start of the yearon the other side of the Atlantic, on the small island of Martinique. “Bernier is meeting his friends this time to a cruise of which he will be the skipper. Obviously, it’s not going to be as simple as he imagined and he’s going to have to investigate the disappearance of a young woman.”reveals the producer.
But a question arises: will there be event episodes regularly? For the moment, ” these are little gifts distilled throughout the year like a madeleine for the public. It must remain episodic “, says Fabienne Arbelot.
