Adobe’s Acrobat Reader PDF program apparently prevents antivirus tools from checking open files. This is reported by “Bleeping Computer”. This could potentially pose a high security risk.
As security researchers have found out, numerous DLL files of popular tools are blocked. These include Bitdefender, Avast, Trend Micro, Symantec, Malwarebytes, ESET, Kaspersky, F-Secure, Sophos and Emsisoft, among others.
