The list of delegate ministers and secretaries of state who will complete the government is expected this Tuesday. Several names are already circulating and that of Amélie Oudéa-Castéra could be crossed out. Mired in controversies since her appointment, it is not excluded that the Minister of National Education will be forced to give up her seat.

The second wave of appointments in the government is still awaited, but the names of the delegate ministers and secretaries of state should be known this Tuesday. And it is not ruled out that on this occasion, the Minister of National Education Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, entangled in controversies, gives up her chair.

François Bayrou does not hide his ambitions

One man does not hide his ambitions for the ministry of rue de Grenelle: François Bayrou. Relaxed on Monday in the affair of the MoDem parliamentary assistants, the High Commissioner for Planning, 24 hours later, has the opportunity to return to the forefront.

“You know how […] I will give so that we can rediscover the desire to teach”

The shooting window is small. The former presidential candidate is therefore getting his foot in the door. “I think that there is a very big problem in National Education and it is a sector, for me, you know how much I believe in it, how much I will give to restore morale, balance, the desire to teach without disturbance in our country,” he declared. Behind the scenes, François Bayrou is also campaigning for the nominations of his protégés from the MoDem. Jean-Noël Barrot, for his retention in Digital or even the deputy Bruno Millienne for a position of Secretary of State.

On the side of the Renaissance presidential party, Yvelines elected official Karl Olive is cited for Housing. But the places will be expensive, there will be “no more than 15 delegate ministers and secretaries of state”, an advisor believes.
