Resident Evil 4 is already breaking a record on Steam

Today came out Resident Evil 4remake of the cult game of Capcom originally launched in 2005 on GameCube. This new version is available on PS4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as on PC, via Steam. And many players are already embarking on the adventure with Leon S.Kennedy.

According to data from SteamDB, Resident Evil 4 brought together 140,240 concurrent players this afternoon. This is a record for the franchise of Capcompreviously held by Resident Evil Village and its 106,631 simultaneous players. The remake of Resident Evil 2 had accumulated 74,227 players at the same time.

As per usual, it will take a few days before Capcom does not release Resident Evil 4 sales figures on all platforms, but the success is already there. If you are interested in the title, you can find it at €53.99 on Gamesplanet.
