“Rest in peace dear Secret Story” quips Benjamin Castaldi about the new version of the show

This Tuesday, April 23, Secret Story returns to TF1. A few hours before tonight’s prime, Benjamin Castaldi, who has long presented this legendary reality TV program, gave his point of view on the 2024 version of the show. And the least we can say is that he’s not really a fan…

Secret Story is therefore making its big return to the channel from this Tuesday evening. But the program has evolved… From April 24, the cult reality TV show will then have a daily, broadcast at 5:30 p.m. every day, except Sunday. So here we go again for a brand new season where we will see candidates evolve, who all have a secret that they try to hide as long as possible.

This daily Secret Story, will allow you to follow what happened in the house of secrets, so as not to miss any of the twists and turns. Friday will be the day when we will know the name of the eliminated candidate. The loser of Secret Story will be announced at 6:30 p.m. but the entire debrief part will be followed on the TF1+ platform so as not to disrupt the channel’s programs too much.

Changes that do not please the former presenter of Secret Story

If Secret Story has changed in form, with this daily news and other broadcast times, the show will also be very different in substance, aiming for a more family audience, avoiding the trashy scenes and provocations to which the program had accustomed us. Another major upheaval: the famous voice of the show, played by Dominique Duforest since 2007, has just been replaced.

Benjamin Castaldi, who has long presented Secret Storyeven participating in its launch since he was there from season 1, had kept silent until nowt… But a few hours before the launch of Secret Story season 12, he finally said everything he thought about this new version of the show.
