Resuscitated – accident witness saves biker’s life after accident

A 32-year-old man from Upper Austria owes his life to the quick and, above all, correct reaction of a witness to the accident. The man had fallen badly on his motorcycle, and a helper immediately came to help.

Serious accident on Friday evening in Pregarten. A 32-year-old motorcyclist from Gutau was traveling on the Kriechmayrdorf freight road from Pregarten towards his home town. In a left turn, the biker left the road with his Brixton for reasons that are still unclear, as the Upper Austria police reported in a broadcast. An evaluation of the traces of the accident by the police suggests that the 32-year-old then grazed a tree with the handlebars and subsequently fell. Residents helped immediately The man suffered serious injuries from the impact. But he probably owes his life to a witness. A resident near the scene of the accident had seen the fall. He immediately ran to the motorcyclist. He resuscitated the seriously injured man on the spot, brought him into the stable side position and immediately provided first aid. He then called the emergency services. After emergency medical care, the 32-year-old Gutauer was flown to MedCampus III of the Kepler University Hospital in Linz by rescue helicopter.
