This Wednesday, the TPMP team looked at the long-awaited return of Star Academy, which should take place sometime in the fall. Filming location, coaches, presenters… the columnists have made some indiscretions on the contours of this new season.
It’s official ! After 14 years of absence, the Star academy will indeed be back on the small screen. Launched in 2001 on TF1, it thrilled millions of viewers thanks to extraordinary shows embodied by the show’s flagship characters such as Nolwenn Leroy, Grégory Lemarchal, Jenifer and Michal. Good news for nostalgics, the most popular singing school of the PAF will be back this fall on TF1. Unfortunately, the emblematic teachers of previous seasons – Kamel Ouali, Raphaëlle Ricci or Armande Altaï – will not be there, but viewers can count on the return of Nikos Aliagas. But then, who will be the coaches of this new season? The mystery remains, but according to information from TPMP columnists, Jean-Pascal would have been approached to play chaperones with future candidates. A role far removed from his past as an agitator! Without giving names, Matthieu Delormeau added that other alumni of the show should play the role of coaches during this new season. As for the one who would hold the role of director of the household – to succeed Alexia Laroche-Joubert – the production “dream of a profile à la Mika“, according to information from Guillaume Genton, who specified: “They would opt for celebrities rather than anonymous people“.

Obviously, the production will have to think of someone other than the Lollipop singer to digest the 2022 vintage since the latter already officiates as artistic director in the Quebec version of the show, withina casting not piqued by the beetles since we also find Xavier Dolan or even Lara Fabian.
