(Reuters) – A Reuters journalist was killed in southern Lebanon where he was working, Reuters said in a statement on Friday.
“We are deeply saddened to learn that our videographer Issam Abdallah was killed,” the statement said.
“Issam was part of a Reuters team in southern Lebanon providing a live video signal,” the statement said, adding that Reuters was urgently seeking further information from authorities in the region.
Two other journalists who were part of the same team were injured, Reuters added.
