What remains ofInfinite Fallcreator of Night in the Woodsand former members ofidSoftware (DOOM) founded The Glory Societya studio that developed Revenant Hilla narrative adventure game with farming management mechanics expected on PS4 and PlayStation 5 at a date still unknown.
The studio was quite discreet about the game’s design, which is not surprising, and it was even recruiting a producer at the end of last summer. However, a statement was just released today, and it’s clearly bad news. The Glory Society announces that two of its members have “serious health concerns” and can no longer participate in the design of the game. But since the studio is already short-staffed, like many independent developers, and with each member working on multiple tasks, continuing with design is impossible.
The Glory Society explains that health comes before the creation of video games, and he thus announces the end of the development of Revenant Hill, the game is therefore canceled. Sad news for players who were impatiently awaiting this title, but of course, fans especially hope that the sick developers will get back on their feet quickly, so why not relaunch a new project when everything is better.
