A major fire broke out on the night of Saturday to Sunday January 23, in a building located rue des Madeleines, in Thizy les Bourgs.
About fifty firefighters intervened, from 11:45 p.m., to fight against the flames.
The building, comprising two floors, was completely destroyed. The fire also spread to two terraced houses and two cars.
The occupants were not present in their accommodation when the fire started. No injuries are to be deplored, but ten people were relocated after this disaster, which required the intervention of firefighters throughout the night.
An investigation was opened by the gendarmes of Thizy les Bourgs to determine the origin of this violent fire.
