(CercleFinance.com) – Riber, manufacturer of Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) equipment for the semiconductor industry, announces a multimillion-euro order from Germany for an MBE 412 system, order scheduled for delivery in 2024.
This automated machine will be used for the production of optoelectronic devices, and more specifically the passivation of laser facets, in particular quantum dot lasers on GaAs, covering different applications.
Developed about ten years ago, the MBE 412 has more than 25 systems currently in operation around the world. ‘Its modularity allows both the development and production of new products,’ says Riber.
