Richard Bohringer, who celebrates his 82nd birthday this Tuesday, January 16, 2024, was in a relationship with Marguerite, the mother of his daughter Romane. A woman who died at 36, who had a “turbulent” life.

On July 6, 2006, our colleagues from Release dedicated a portrait to Romane Bohringer, Richard’s daughter, who is celebrating her 82nd birthday today. In it, we learn more about Marguerite Bourry, the actress’s mother. “Born in Saigon to a Corsican father and a Vietnamese mother”, she was repatriated to France before landing in refugee camps in Lozère, then being adopted. It was only 21 years old that she gave birth to Romane.

Only 9 months after this birth, Marguerite separates from Richard Bohringer and abandons her family. She leaves to join the new gang that she forms with the activist and journalist at Libé Maurice Najman, Solveig Dommartin (her best friend) and Wim Wenders. “She died at 36”, while Romane was only 14 and her father Richard Bohringer was married to Astrid, whom she met in the early 80s.EShe had a very hectic life. With my child’s eyes, it seemed crazy to me. When my father remarried, I felt that there was worry about me going to the other side, her side”, Romane Bohringer then remembered when speaking of her mother, in this portrait dedicated to her. A few years later, in September 2022, she remembered this abandonment for our colleagues in Le Monde.

Romane Bhoringer, abandoned but strong

Revealing to them in particular that she has no resentment towards her, since she is aware of her mother’s very complicated journey: “Eshe herself had been abandoned. I come from a line of abandonments. It was super insecure, but I never held it against my mother. I gained strength, enthusiasm from it.” Romane Bohringer has since built her own family. Indeed, after meeting actor and screenwriter Philippe Rebbot in 2004 – from whom she has since separated – on the set of the TV film The Belleville Scootershe gave birth with him in 2008 to her first child, a little girl named Rose, and on August 2, 2011 to a little boy named Raoul.
