Alongside a series of photos from the performance and her iconic outfit, she commented, “5 EMMY NOMINATIONS is craaaaazzzyyy!!! I’m so thankful for every single person that was involved in creating these memories!”
Rihanna was nominated in the categories “Outstanding Variety Special (live)”, “Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special”, “Outstanding Musical Direction”, “Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special” and “Outstanding Technical Direction and Cinematography for a Special”.
Legendary performance with a baby bump
After giving birth to her first child with US rapper A$AP Rocky in May 2022, Rihanna’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 12, 2023 marked the start of her long-awaited stage comeback. During the performance, Rihanna also made her second pregnancy public by constantly looking at her baby bump.
