Rihanna: The music has to wait because of new skin care products

Fans may have to do without fresh Rihanna music. At first she would like to concentrate on a new beauty line.

For several years, Rihanna (32, "Umbrella") has not only been a singer and actress, but also a successful businesswoman. The Barbadian singer, who has been living in London for some time, runs her own beauty and fashion empire under her surname Fenty. This should now continue to grow, although music is said to suffer from it. The British tabloid "The Sun" reports citing an insider.

"Rihanna's ninth album is on hold for an indefinite period of time," an anonymous source from Rihanna's area is said to have revealed. The entrepreneur wants to "make her millions with beauty products and is planning a new line of skin care products in addition to her (already existing) Fenty product range". Rihanna has therefore secured the name "Buff Ryder" for it.

The next billionaire?

The last Rihanna album so far is called "Anti" and dates from 2016. Fans have been speculating for years on a new long player, often only called "R9". The singer has put her followers' hopes on hold, while Rihanna – apparently modeled on Kylie Jenner (22) and Kim Kardashian (39) – "expands and conceives her beauty empire to become the next beauty billionaire", the insider continues.
