The inheritance dispute over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate is now officially over. Riley Keough gets it all – so does Graceland.

More than half a year after the death of Elvis Presley’s (1935-1977) daughter Lisa Marie (1968-2023), the question of inheritance has finally been resolved. As reported by the US site “Deadline”, among others, Riley Keough (34) was officially appointed sole administrator of her late mother’s estate. This decision was finally confirmed on Friday (August 4) before the Los Angeles Superior Court. Keough thus owns all of the possessions of Lisa Marie Presley, who died of heart failure on January 12, 2023 at the age of 54 – including the world-famous Graceland estate.

The testament of the deceased had provided for the same thing that has now happened. The fact that the decision took so long was due to an interim dispute between Keough and her grandmother Priscilla Presley (78). She initially challenged her daughter’s updated 2016 will, which removed her as Graceland’s heir. Lisa Marie only listed her children Riley and Benjamin Keough as heirs. However, her son died in 2020 at the age of 27, leaving his sister the de facto sole heir.

Breakthrough in the inheritance dispute

It was not until June of this year that it was finally said that the two parties to the dispute had been able to reach an out-of-court settlement. That’s what “People” reported at the timethat Presley will receive $1 million from her daughter’s estate. She is also said to be reimbursed $400,000 in legal fees. An agreement was also reached with Michael Lockwood (62), the father of Riley Keough’s underage half-siblings Harper and Finley.

Two additional compromises against Priscilla Presley can be read in the new reports. So she was promised to be buried at Graceland. She has also been granted the post of advisor to her daughter’s estate, for which she receives an undisclosed monthly payment.
